"bug" is a vague term for some animals. generally, people use it to refer to terrestrial arthropods, or perhaps more generally, non-marine bilaterian invertebrates. scientists also use the term "true bugs" to refer to a particular clade of insects, for whatever that's worth.
but nevermind that. what do you think a bug is ? what animal taxa do you consider to be "bugs" ?
