you walk the streets of sanfransokyo with your backpack, and another bag to hold your flag, rifle and sabre. you have your airpods in your ears, and a nervous look on your face. you came back from winterguard auditions, auditioning for the most prestigious winterguards in sanfansokyo. you are sure that you didn’t make it, because they’re expectations were pretty high for a girl that looks like she sits behind a computer coding all day. a sigh slipped from your mouth and you stop walking for a bit. you look behind yourself, to see the sunset, and all the streetlights you walked past. after looking over for a second, you continue your walk back home.
once you got home, you kick off your shoes and put tour airpods back in your case. you go to the kitchen and pull out a bag of chips. you were really hungry, considering that you forgot to pack a lunch after you left school, and you had a four hour audition right after. you head back to the living room to slouch on the couch until you start to hear screaming and metal clanging.
“those fuckers should know that robot fighting is illegal,” you hiss as you munch on your chips. then your cat, pebbles, has jumped onto the couch to accompany you.
the screaming and the metal clanging noises continued as you started your nightly routine, ruining the peace and quiet of your bath. you hopped out of the tub to put on a bathrobe, because you wanted to continue on to your skin care routine, and it was your favorite part of your routine.
finally, the routine has concluded and the noises have still continued. you were obviously pissed off. so you got enough nerve to go downstairs snd down the alleyway to see what the fuck was going on.
you go outside to see a man, larger than life rage-quitting. and once you look around some more, you see a kid. ‘a fucking kid. he must bee at least 13. and why is he doing something so illegal, betting on robots, he should know better!’ you though to yourself. and before you knew it, a man on a motor bike, rushes towards the kid and swipes him away before the police could get them. but before he could do any of that, he glances at you.
i’ve never seen a guy so ethereal.
he looks so familiar, but he’s just a stranger.
you woke up with the sun in your eyes. you didn’t remember how you got to bed. uou probably waddled back after you saw him.
you remember his facial structure and that cap he was wearing.
“ what was tadashi doing out so late? “ you groan.
and was that his brother or something?
you roll out if bed and head to the kitchen to eat some cereal. you also remembered that the list of people on the team will be emailed on saturday, and it’s only sunday.
you hear your phone go off, and you take a look.
honeyyy🍯 ： what happened last night?? are you okay (y/n)???
you： yes i’m fine, there was just illegal betting close by.
honeyyy🍯: i heard! tadashi asked about you.
why would he ask about me?
you: oh really? well tell him i’m okay and that i hope he is too.
honeyyy🍯: well,, he got arrested,, and hiro did too.
honeyyy🍯: he’ll explain to you later.
