They always say do what you love and everything else will fall in place. I feel like I’ve been lied to. i had all these aspirations, yet I feel like I’m just standing still. 

I realized today that I’m not doing what I love. I find myself DREADING Monday and going to work. I get anxious. I think it’s been like this since 2015. It’s been two years that I’ve wasted my time, trying to make ends meet instead of taking risks. 

I got the sweetest surprise in the mail today. One of my really good friends decided to surprise me by sending my dog, Oliver, some toys. I don’t know why I got so happy. I think it was because I was having a shitty day and getting this in the mail blindsided me. It’s weird, but I really appreciated the gesture. 

So much has happened this past week. I finally acted my age and went out to a bar with some friends. I had to go back to work earlier than anticipated and I went to go see Kendrick Lamar. 

My weekend was pretty interesting. We arrived to Las Vegas Friday night, close to midnight. And to our surprise it was RAINING and there was THUNDER in sin city. That was something that wasn't expected from this little personal hell. 

Saturday was the day of the concert. I literally sat in front of a tv screen watching reruns of Cesar Milan’s Dog Whisper and Law & Order SVU. Only to step out the get some Chicago styled pizza from Rosati’s. We got ready around 7, left at 8 and where sipping on Fat Tuesdays by 9.
