Wish I could frame you & this feeling on the wall

““For me it’s a big responsibility because a lot of my fanbase is young females. And I think from my point of view, I have a lot to say but what can I say to females? People like you guys that I can spread the word with and speak with those females properly. What I’m trying to say is that it has been a big thing for me recently. I did a lot of online shows where we’ve been having a lot of new young female artists coming on to give them a chance to make it in the industry and to play to these people. And it’s amazing watching their rise and how things go after the show. It’s a narrative that we’re all trying to change desperately and working really hard on.””

““I had the most random one ever once before. I went to Africa with Ant Middleton for a show to go and survive in the wild. We had to travel from the airport like 6 hours out into the wilderness in Africa and we stopped at like a random petrol station and I thought ‘I’ll be fine, no one is gonna know who I am here’ and I was dressed as Indiana Jones so I thought I’d get away with it. I get out of the car and the first person I walk through was like ‘One Direction’. I was like ‘Yes, that is my name. That’s what I go by now’.””

““Obviously my career started from 14 to 17 so we’ve all done stuff quite crazy things and it’s very easy and very quick for that to go to your head. I mean you see a lot of child starts who go off the rails and for me I thoroughly believe that it’s the people you have around you who are your role models, who are your mentors at the time. Cause there’s definitely been places that I’ve needed to be brought back from. And I’m sure there’ll be many more places that I visit that will need to be brought back down to earth as well.””
