Azula was greatly disturbed by what she was hearing- how could a lack of bending purify someone? Why would these people claim non-benders are better than benders? She wouldnāt lie and say non-benders were beneath benders, inadequate in comparison- after all, she wouldnāt have taken up with Mai and Ty Lee, if that were true- but to say non-benders were more pure? She wanted to laugh.
Then again, this place was strange enough to her that she suspected it could be true, that benders had begun oppressing the non-benders- something she wouldnāt agree with. Whoever this man was, the people were thoroughly supportive of him. He was quite enigmatic and charismatic, which she was sure couldnāt hurt.
It didnāt pass Azulaās attention that he had seen her, and she crossed her arms, lifting a curious brow. His words, his recognition of her, made her smirk, a silent pride on her face. Well, wherever she was, at least they could tell who was relevant.
