I’m going to start an online diary. Just a vent really. Someday I might look back and remember the crazy shit that’s happened through my life. So let’s get right to it. If you’re reading this future Peter, hello you mad bastard. I hope you’re doing well. It’s 2020 and it’s been a pretty diabolical year.
Covid has pretty much the whole planet in turmoil and it’s sucking the life out of everyone and everything. It’s pretty surreal, like living a nightmare. I had a seizure in my sleep like 3 days before the first lockdown in March. Woke up in an ambulance with every muscle in my body aching. It fucking scared me to bits. I have had four or five seizures (can’t remember as they fuck up your memory) following the first one all in my sleep. I started having anxiety attacks right before sleeping, maybe because I was scared it was going to happen again? Thankfully the Doctors of the lovely NHS got me sorted and on medication. My last seizure was in June and I havent had one since.
But this year isn’t all doom and gloom. The Wotsit man got voted out and I am just about to fly the nest with the nicest person on the planet. Stacey Jane. I like to call her that in my head. Makes me think i’m Spider-man hahaha. She’s even ginger too. I hope I don’t get on her nerves when we move out because i’m pretty useless when it comes to DIY stuff. She, having been brought up by her single parent mother, takes no shit. She is fierce strong woman whilst i’ve been pretty much mollycoddled my entire life. We’ve been together for 7 years now and I’m still sure she’s gonna teach me a thing or two. Hopefully patiently. I love her even if she will inevitably call me useless.
I feel like the Lockdowns have brought our families closer together too. We’ve been conforming to the weekly online quiz meetings which have been fun. It’s weird that this is how they’re bonding after being together for all this time. Through a screen. But i’m not complaining. When this is all over we’ll all get together in person and have a big sesh.
Man I miss gigs. I don’t know how often i’m gonna do these, so the next one could be when i’ve actually been to one. I’ll be sure to tell you all about it. Right i’m going to bed. I’ll leave a song at the end of each post I do to remind myself of what I was listening to at the time. Music is life.
