The new recruit was just wandering around the Shatterdome, a sigh leaving her lips. A spare Jaeger pilot and also an excellent biologist and mechanic. Really, she had talent, but she didn’t really think so. Everything was rustling and bustling to get the machines all ready for the next Kaiju brawl. No one really needed her, so she headed to the lunch hall to get some peace and quiet since no one was in there just yet. She sat down at a table and closed her eyes. “Maybe I shouldn’t be here..”

「♡」She loved it when devoted fans gave her things - fan mail, drawings, and the like. But she loved it when they gave her food. One married couple who’s bakery Lark and Tatum saved a while ago, sent them whole cheesecakes - about two or three - every month. Now that was repaying them for their service to mankind. So the blonde is happily stuffing her face, a whole slice held in one hand while another one bitten in half is in the other. It kinda seems she doesn’t notice the other that decided to sit next to her and muttered, “Unless ya come bearin’ cake I ain’t interest’d buddy." But upon hearing no response to that -- and hearing what the person muttered does the Pilot turn to face them and blink. "Why are ya thinkin' like that? Only losers think like that. Stop it right now before I punch ya." She doesn't know who the other is, but she would punch her if she didn't lighten up the depressing atmosphere.

     Even if Ellis was rolling around on the ground like an absolute fool, he wasn’t going to let anyone take advantage of his drunken state, one hand shooting out and grabbing a hold of the ankle that was annoyingly nudging into his side, giving it a harsh twist and sending its owner falling towards the ground with a large thump. He managed to lift himself up quick enough to crawl over the other form and secure their arms above their head and lock their legs together by wrapping one of his own around them, but all these sudden movements had a real fucking big effect on the blonde, his vision already beginning to fuzz. “Y-Ya wanna fucking repeat that, bitch?"

「♡」The sudden grab and twist and fall caused Lark land on her back with pained hiss to leave her lips. The pain was nearly blinding and this fucking punk better hope nothing was broken! She was about to hop right up before he crawled over her and secured her within his hold. Well that action alone - along with the insult - caused her to yell right in his face. "I WAS TRYIN' TO GET YA INSIDE THE SHATTERDOME YA FUCKIN' MORON BECAUSE OUTSIDE IS NO PLACE FOR A DUMB DRUNK. AND GET YOUR FUCKIN' SKUNK-ASS SELF OFFA ME I DON'T LIKE THE D." And she'll squirm and try to drive her knee into said 'D'.

Huddled into a corner, she watched as the strangers neared, reaching a hand out to grab their foot. Miku couldn’t make eye contact as she stared at the pavement. “Do.. you have any band-aids?" She has new wounds and just ran out. 

Oh joy. Another lot of people. — What was it today? One after another he was meeting new faces, some old but mainly some new. Scratching his head and drawing out a sigh, he shot a tired, non interested look over, “Is there something you need?" Please let’s hope none ask for a tour around his school. — currently the only thing occupying the redhead’s mind was to get himself either in the water or out to take a walk around his old swim club … well the area where it once stood.

「♡」Ugh why couldn't Tatum do this school assembly thing? They knew she was terrible at these - kids, especially teenagers were rude-ass punks. Sure she wasn't anything different personality wise, given there wasn't much of an age difference between her and the school seniors... She just didn't like it okay. But, still here she was, aviator shades moved to rest on her head, jacket sporting the decal of the PPDC in skilled stitching and hands stuffed into pockets wondering if she should even should approach this guy even though he asked if she needed anything. Oh well, might as well take up his offer. "Can ya show me to where the auditorium is or whatever. I'm supposed to be doing an assembly."
