Now that I'm out of school I want to deep dive back into my au fun and oc lore

considering this whole ass au on irk takes place in part desert part canyon type of landscapes I need to start practicing these landscapes specifically (like I practice landscapes at all lmao)
but I just wanted like a little example of ancient irken plains + a thorn root which is a plant irken's harvest the thorns from because they are filled with a really sweet substance that they use in almost everything

Few things for some doodles (also hi I'm back no I wasn't dead they did try tho but I survived)
BUT context, I wanted to draw a picture for scale about how big the irken queen is compared to like a hunter irken or invader irken
2nd pic is a harvest weapon idea for a type of tree I need to draw (but I am god awful at plants just gimme a sec chat I'm sorry) they are like roots that grow from the more solid grounded areas of planet irk in this time period that hunter irkens often harvested thorns (aka what is in the basket they are carrying) that carry extremely sweet sap that is used in almost all of their dishes (aka why irkens have a tendency to like very sweet things! because sweet tree sap!)
