I have no concept of tmi you should tell me everything
“Like, where is this energy for the other cast members, who are white, may I add?”
great point because hayden’s actor literally had a tweet from like 2014-2016 with the n word and yet i don’t think that left twt, a few people asked for recast but it died down quickly, he privated and deactivated his account and never addressed it
Exactly my point! I never even heard about that but I definitely think it has to do with 1, Hudson gained more popularity and 2, let's be honest, it's because he's Asian and the internet is really weird about people who are Asian. Like, I understand that photo is not good and very, very dumb but given the fact that half of Hollywood is filled with actual terrible people, I can't find myself to be too outraged tbh.
I fear that Hudson Williams has some opps and haters too close to him because what the fuck? The media has been on this man's neck from the moment the show became popular and have legitimately gone out of their way to dig up stuff about him as a teen. (And minor, btw.) Like, where is this energy for the other cast members, who are white, may I add? Interesting that social media always has something to day about him but rarely about Connor or Francois and even Robbie. (Yes, I do remember the dating meltdown in Twitter but given that it's a cesspool over there, most people have either forgotten or never cared.) Is it because he's gregarious, unapologetic, easy to be around?
Listen, I'm not brushing the pic under the rug but my god, it has been one thing after another since November. Once again, they're learning the really hard way that not everyone is a friend and your past doesn't always stay that way, especially when everything is documented like crazy now.
you should always be careful when you fall back asleep again after waking up because sometimes you will just have a pleasant little snooze but sometimes you'll get trapped in TIME PRISON. unfortunately there is no way to predict this.

I say this with my whole chest but the best thing both CS and HW did was to turn their social media strictly professional. Because history has a habit of repeating itself and we can already see media and "fans" turning on both of them. Y'all CANNOT leave well enough alone and have this incessant need to dig and dig until you find something, anything, not perfect about them and run with it. We have seen this over and over again with actors, especially the ones who get famous super quick like they both did. Stalking their profiles, researching friends, it just takes a small group of people to cross the line. Everyone, yes even you, has a past with not so great things. Stuff you said or did, people you associated with, family that are actually awful. The difference is you don't have your personal life dissected across several social media platforms. You don't have relationship speculation or friends coming out of the woodwork to get their 15 minutes of fame. You get to learn from your mistakes without a lense, without random internet warriors telling you how horrible you are for being human and fucking up.
Hudson and Connor learned the hard way, as many of us do. Two young men thrown into the spotlight and already picked apart and needled. 6 months and the tide is turning. I'm sure it will happen another 20 times before they settle into their roles. It will happen to the next obsession. The public is fickle. We're inundated with way too much information every single day. Find a hobby that isn't just social media and learn to separate character's from their actors. From a veteran fandom lurker you'll be much happier.
*taps post* Once again, relevant. I don't think I need to go into detail. No, this isn't a defense either. But you WILL absolutely be disappointed if you start digging into someone's past, especially when they were minors. (Which yes, is weird tbh.)

"I'm so scared this is going to ruin their friendship!?!?!?!"
Okay well, let me hold your hand while I say this but if two grown men can't handle silly fangirls/fanboys being weird on the internet and stop being fun and/or friendly with each other then they were never that close to begin with. Stop feeding into the negativity and clicks gossip columns want to have. Your algorithm will thank you.

we were never meant to see everyones opinions all the time
it used to be 2007 you know
All the adults should put in the tags how old they were in 2007
i was 7
I always forget there are maga people on tumblr, this doesn’t feel like a website you’d find them on, so to keep them away:
Reblog if your blog is a maga free zone because if it wasn’t clear enough fuck ice, fuck maga, fuck Trump, Fuck Rowling, and fuck all the other bigots I missed
maybe y'all didn't notice but fat people who don't hate ourselves sure did notice that people were obsessed with shitting on fat people in the late 90s and early 2000s (conservative political time) and now are again (fascist political time), coincidentally while the market for weight loss has become a 90 billion dollar industry due to glp1s.
you are not immune to propaganda. it makes some people a whole hell of a lot of money for you to hate fat people and fear becoming (or staying, I think like 70% or something of the US is fat) one of us.
a lot of the fearmongering over fatness comes from studies directly funded by the weight loss industry...i think people don't really realize or think about the fact that research can absolutely be influenced and skewed by its funding. there is also research that shows that an amount of the negative health outcomes for fat people come from anti-fat bias. if you go to the doctor with concerns and the doctor simply tells you to lose weight, your problem is neglected and you may not even bother going to the doctor with the next problem.
every fat person you know for the most part probably has a story like this, of medical neglect. many of the stories i've heard personally are when the complaint or the doctor wasn't related at all, like being told to lose weight at the ear nose and throat doctor or at the dentist. it's straight up just bias. it's such a thing that in the show Shrill it's portrayed, when Aidy Bryant goes to the gynecologist and her doctor suggests she get gastric bypass.
the studies on health and fatness are simply not that black and white and there is basically no research that shows that more than an incredibly tiny minority of people can lose weight and keep it off for more than like 2 years. bodies have set points that they gravitate towards, it's not a personal failure. this also is how the weight loss industry succeeds so well - repeat customers.
some of the harm associated with fatness is also due to weight cycling, which is very hard on your body and is even worse if you get off a GLP1, which according to a recent study causes weight to be regained at a rate that is 4x faster than without taking a GLP1.
you don't have to hate yourself. you don't have to hate other people for their body type either. it makes me so sad to see the thinspo tag going around again in 2026 a lot like it was back in the day.

there's so much crazy shit once you go down the rabbit hole. for example, BMI was not invented by anyone with a medical background. it was never meant to measure individual health.

Evidence is mounting that our body fat supports everything from our bone health to our mood, and now, research suggests it also regulates bl
just gonna reblog this forever because i love fat people and we deserve fuckin basic human dignity and respect regardless of our weight
It's so important to acknowledge how anti-fatness rhetoric directly coincides with the rise in Conservativism and fascism, like this post states. It's also rooted in racism. Unfortunately, the moment you state this, especially as a fat individual, you're immediately disregarded. Fat people have been the butt of jokes for years and so easily accepted that anyone who stands up for themselves or says hey, this isn't funny, is told to "take a joke" or just lose weight." It's so discouraging.
The rise of posts directly making fun or shitting on fat people, on Tiktok, Twitter and Instagram is just a round circle of people who are deeply hateful and supportive of the current administration. Additionally, fat content creators are increasingly falling into the idea of "taking back their health" and supporting extreme weight loss while continuing to profit off of fat content. Listen, do what's best for you but be honest with yourself and your followers about your goals.
I'd also like to point out that as a fat woman, my blood work and health panels come back so good. Like, even my doctor was like, dang, your levels look great. Most of my health problems now stem from Covid and PCOS. So miss me with that bullshot excuse of, "we're worried about your health" or "you're the reason insurance is so high." Please.
sorry i can’t go out tonight i’m at home sitting down

I was born in the exact right generation I love being an unmarried woman in my twenties with my own bank account and no children
This getting reblogged with “and my thirties” “and my forties” “and my fifties”
Nothing prepares you for how ugly a cybertruck is in real life. I've seen seven of them now, I'm still never prepared for how fuckawful this thing looks. "Why is there a moving over-engineered trash bin on the ro-- oh my god." Every single time. I'm not even being a hater, the thing is genuinely ugly, it looks like a seventh grade intro to engineering class project that got maybe a C+. There are no sleek lines, there's nothing but dull gray metal, it's not even that intimidatingly large. It looks like it was made out of scrap pieces welded together. It can sort of appear decent in pictures, somehow. But in real life, I am never prepared for how fucking ugly or dinky it actually is.
