for conferences, shinRa board members would have the industrial grade ones that can make the beam of light visible on a large projection screen across a ballroom.

by the goddess, i hold so much disdain for laser pointers. i have difficulty not following them with my eyes. they make my pupils take in too much light during the daytime, and if it was not for years of military discipline, i might be inclined to chase it.

Oh my. I apologize if this sounds rude, but that is adorable-- that you feel the desire to chase it, not that it hurts your pupils.
