I will never not reblog this gif set whenever it comes across my dash.
People judge members of our armed forces just as people judge members of minority groups— we stereotype, and it seems seldom that a soldier is depicted in a positive light. For those of us who have brothers and sisters and friends in the air force, in the guard, etc., it’s nice to see something positive like this circulated. See? There is still honor in being a soldier, in standing up for what is right, and doing it not for one’s own benefit, but for that of others. God bless this man. And remember that there are a lot more men and women out there just like him.
