Hate to break it to you but as someone who’s played soccer all their life and is also a life long fan, Norway’s defence has been shocking all tournament. They don’t press, they don’t go to, they don’t cover. It was inevitable that a higher ranked team would eventually take advantage of it. Their attack has also been inconsistent, when they stop thinking too hard about it and just cross the ball into a striker (usually Haaland), they actually score, but they spent most of the time faffing about and it allowed English players to intercept. They have some brilliant players but they’ll have to continue to step it up a level if they ever want to beat a top 5 team.
