Pippin is cute, and adorable, and possibly trying to steal his girlfriend.

“Uh, so,” Ravi paused in front of his door. “We just have to be careful going in.”

May raised an eyebrow at him. “Why?”

“Pippin — my cat — is kind of an escape artist,” Ravi explained. “And I’m late for his dinner.”

May giggled. “Alright, let’s not keep him waiting any longer,” she said.

Ravi unlocked the door and May scooted in behind him, closing it quickly behind her.

Pippin bounded up to them, skidding to a stop in front of Ravi and loudly expressing his displeasure as he pawed at Ravi’s knees and tried to climb up his leg.

“Okay, okay,” Ravi said, scooping him up into his arms and kissing his head. “I’m half an hour late, it's not the end of the world.”
