They keep seeing each other in passing, mostly knowing of the other because of Caspian and Kintsu, but they feel connected, as though somehow they are meant to know one another due to fate and circumstance.Drew confines in Shi about her ex and Shiââs brother leaving the tribes, leaving them both. After some time of being friends, something starts to grow. There is obvious attraction from Shi, but Drew is hesitant, unknowing how to care for someone that isnât her kits or Caspian. But after what seems like eternity, Drew canât help but feel the same. Shi adores the broken she-cats every move, the way her pelt flashes in the sun, the way her eyes glitter even in the darkest parts of Shadow Tribe and yet she canât quite understand why or how she feels this way. Drew admires Shiâs strength. She wants to be strong and persevere as Shibui has, though getting to know Shi has shown her that underneath her hard shell, Shibui was just as broken and hurt as Drew. The tiger-like she-cat will feel a overwhelming need to protect Shi and her feelings for the she-cat grow. Itâs when Shi sees Drew talking to another cat, flirting obviously that she later tells Drew she is thinking of leaving the tribes or at least Shadow Tribe again. Drew instantly begs her not to go. âDonât leave me! Please donât go.... I donât want to be alone anymore.â Drew exclaims, her fur bristling and eyes watering. The aging she-cat so desperately wants to be loved, to not be alone. Of course she has Amethyst and Sol, but Drew wantâs more, she wants to grow old with someone she cares about and who feels the same about her. Shi tells Drew that she cares for Drew a little more than either had expected. The orange she-cat explained she too cared for Shibui in a way she hadnât felt in a long time. Not about anyone but Caspian and Weiland. The two found something that they both were desperate to find within each others company. Within a few months time, Shi and Drew would decide that there is no reason to hide how they felt and start a relationship where both are actually pretty happy. Though both are broken each are wanting to heal one another, to glue back together the pieces others left. They never officially become mates, but they donât care. Neither care for labels and decide to get a surrogate and have a litter of 5 together. They grow old, and Drew grows ill having a weak immune system already. At age 13 years old, Drew dies happy in the arms of Shi. A year later, the pointed she-cat also dies. Some claim it was loneliness, others say it was Drew that asked her to come with her to paradise where they live happily together for eternity.Â
