in 2 hours my brother gets here and stays for a few days so the house is gonna be packed. i really wanted tonight to be special. just a moment for the two of us to connect and make love before we have zero privacy for days. but she just went to sleep.

because from that moment on, i wont just remember what you did, ill start expecting it. everywhere. in everything.

if you lie to me once, it wont stay "once" in my head. it becomes a pattern im waiting to see repeat itself.

anything you do to me, even if it never happens again… my mind will treat it like its already on loop.

and it doesnt even take much after that. a tone. a pause. a detail that doesnt sit right. and suddenly it all comes back.
