⁃ Daughter of Sidney Prescott and Vic Sage, though they wanted to get away from the horror movie that is Gotham) and she took her mother’s last name cause she’s closer with her and such

⁃ Also since her name is Heather, she refused to be called Heather Sage cause that’s just double planted up and makes her sound like she’s into healing herbs and stuff. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but they make her sneeze so no thanks

⁃ Heather is a wallflower, she goes to Star City High and is kinda like the Carrie of the school, except she’s far lesser known since not many people bother messing with her anymore. Sidney made sure her daughter wouldn’t get made fun of for the same things she did as a kid so nobody messes with Heather, but nobody wants to be her friend either so she’s pretty lonely a lot

⁃ She plays the violin in school band, she blends into the crowd and she never gets picked for solos. She’s good at blending into the crowd and not being seen, which actually makes her a good detective

⁃ She’s a detective for the SCPD, after being recommended and approved by her father, step mother (Helena) and even Batman, she got to be a detective and help solve serial killer cases so she could save people like her mother

⁃ Heather is scared of Ghostface masks cause her ex boyfriend and ex best friend both posed as Ghostface to murder her because they wanted to be together and figured the only solution was to kill Heather since she was in the way of their love. But Sidney helped her daughter put them both in jail, but Heather is still pretty jumpy and her and her mothers house has the best security on the market

- Hana is often way too much portrayed as the emotional pack mule for the Yamisoka's or the "nice" one, which I do want to change and tweak a little. BUT FIRST AND FOREMOST—THIS WOMAN IS GOING TO BE SENEGALESE-JAPANESE. Just because Senegal has a rich fashion culture and I think it would be cool to incorporate the fashion into her character, like, LOOK:

- I want Hana to have more TEETH as a character, first time around—she was way too much of a "nice" Yamisoka and she revolved a bit too much around heing a mother. ALSO, she's Black in Japan, which means she doesn't experience things like her sisters—Ahmya is Indigenious Peruvian/Japanese and Kagami is Russian/Japanese. So I think she was always aware of how quickly people were to fetishize or sexualize her instantly and that she was NOT treated the same way as her sisters.

- She is elegant, composed, deceptively charismatic and is incredibly good at reading people. I also like the idea that she's incredibly sensory and texture-oriented. She'd love to inspect the fabrics her tailors selected for her, she enjoys being surrounded by lovely smells, scents, and etc. She can be warm but only to a select few (Sumi included) and she does dislike vulgarity, which Akira will use to mess with her.

- She is in charge of diplomatic relations, hospitality, social orchestration, and recon for her siblings to scout out information for them.

- I want her to be a healer but LIKE, NOT IN THE SAME WAY AKAI WAS—Akai was Hana's apprentice but in a regular doctor sense (brain scans, surgery, etc, all of that) but Hana works in the sense of magic, herbs, processes, and both the apothecary and supernatural side of it. She'll know how to naturally sedate her siblings by burning a custom made incense she created, she uses both Senegalese traditions to heal her siblings and Japanese feudal era techniques.

- I ALSO WANT HER TO MAKE HER OWN MAKE UP, she'd have a magical garden that can sustain many elements of natural make up so she makes her own perfumes and make up. SO SUMI'S SKINCARE ROUTINE IS ABSOLUTELY ELITE but Hana making rose hair oils for her natural hair and for Sumi or whatever scents Sumi wants. She makes handmade powders for her skintone. She can also make beautiful lip tints and use magical herbs to add a little helpful edge. Like a setting powder made by a magical memory blurrong herb so Sumi takes out her compact powder and puts some on her face and the herb makes it where everyone who sees her can't remember her and other things.

- She is indulgent—she likes to spoil her people, her home is filled with grounded luxury, she likes to make beautiful things with her own hands, and she can be playful with Sumi like teasing her or being vulnerable with her and few select siblings.

- Hana does have a tendency to make her Yamisoka work look incredibly beautiful. She pays tribute to her victims by giving them beautiful deaths that are personalized to them, which makes her insidious in the sense that she may romanticize her work.

- Hana is not delusional, of course, she's actually terrifyingly self aware because she was FORCED to be at a young age given to her specific interracial identity. She understands that for Black women, mixed women, and girls who are already being read before they even speak, image is part of the battlefield. So Hana controls her image, behavior, and etc very carefully so that people know that her beauty is for herself and that they're lucky to be graced by it.

- Hana would hate the idea that Sumi looks "more real" without her Gyaru make up and would be delighted by her confidence but she'd constantly remind Sumi to dress for jer eyes rather than her own. Sumi is authentic because her face that she was born with is simply what she is but Gyaru make up is how she chooses to tell people what she is. Because Hana doesn't just see the make up but she'd teach Sumi how make up is a form of artistry and admire the skill Sumi puts into it. To Hana, Sumi's face and fashion are the clearest expressions of her will. She would teach Sumi that her bare face is no lesser or grander that her make up face because they both reveal her truths and identity. So she'd constantly tell her things like: "There is a difference between being unguarded and being authentic. Do not confuse the two, mon petite rose."

LIKE HE'LL BE FIGHTING DAITO AND DRAWING RUNES IN THE DIRT AND Daito is all: "You're a coward, Vishnu. At least Watami fights me head on!" And VIKSHAR DOES INCOPORATE SOME HINDU DANCES INTO HIS FIGHTING STYLE TO DODGE, MISDIRECT, AND ETC but it also helps him channel magic better BUT LIKE, Daito about to steal his qi only for his technique to not work and Daito scoffs and looks down AND SEES THAT THERE IS A MANDALA DRAWN IN THE DIRT BENEATHE HIM THAT IS KEEPING HIM CONTAINED and Daito scoffs and goes: "CHEATER!" while Vikshar rolls his eyes because, yeah, the qi-stealing ex-monk definetly has a right to complain about cheating🙄

BUT LIKE, I DO WANT TO GIVE VIKSHAR A WEAPON and it's a redirection staff. BASICALLY, the staff was created to deflect magic but the degree in which it can deflect magic depends on the WIELDER. Vikshar is not the strongest magic user and he doesn't have to be, he wields the staff the same way he wields his karmic magic—through understanding, clarity, and balance. BUT HOW IT WORKS IS ESSENTIALLY THAT VIKSHAR STILL HAS MAGIC WIELDING ABILITIES EVEN AS JUST VIKSHAR. So he can deflect spells, hexes, and other offensive magic. If it's a continuous magical blast, Vikshar will need to really concentrate and wield the staff to deflect the magic or redirect the magic back at the wielder essentially and if he's against a magical weapon, he can essentially just use the bo staff as a staff. IF A STRONGER MAGIC USER IF CASTING IT? Then Vikshar can technically just only deflect it but he can't control where it goes but if it's a weaker magic user than he can spin the staff around him and control the movement in which thejr spell was intended to hit him at and then send it flying to their direction. SO HE'S NOT LIKE...DEPOWERING HIMSELF AND THEN JUST FIGHTING WITH BAREHANDS.

His older sister, Ishani, got him this as a gift and the story behind that was that she was really worried for Vikshar just detransforming because it is a responsible choice but it also leaves him insanely vulnerable and she's a regular civillian but she's become incredibly well-versed in the magical world and Bakari is a magical forgemaster...but he's a modern one too so he accommodates all forms of contact whether it be a commission website he has on his social media bio, messenger pigeons, ominous heralds from lands beyond...Ishani used the website and commissioned Bakari for it AND LIKE, Vikshar and Bakari joining the team and Bakari IMMEDIATELY recognizes his own handiwork and Ishani told Vik where she commissioned it from so EVEN AT THE START OF AWOL—Vikshar knew Bakari as a forgemaster and expert while Bakari knew Vikshar as Karma Keeper and Bakari is all: "Huh, so the reality fixing hero even uses my creations...can I get a public endorsement?"

And Vikshar smiles patiently and warmly as he's all: "This staff has saved my life on multiple occasions, Bakari Brooks. For that, I'd be honored to be your on-call reference."

But I love the idea of AWOL just finding Vikshar so badass actually because they know he's peaceful, they know he's experiencing Karma and stuff, but they 100% get the most excited and hype when Vikshar detransforms because THEY GET TO SEE HIM GO CRAZY. Marcos ESPECIALLY GETS SO HYPED because Vikshar can be brutal and Marcos is all: "VIK, HOMBRE, YOU'VE BEEN HOLDIN' OUT ON ME."
