Yes, I started learning animation and rendering with mineimator before I moved to blender.

I’d say that blender is better, if you pretty much know how to use it, since there’s a lot more you can do, but… it’s a hard start tbh. At some point mineimator is a much easier start, since things are quite simple and straightforward there and the MCSM rigs are easy to control. Though at the same time you can control things a lot more in blender, plus the outcome will look better too. The blender MCSM rigs just are really complicated to get used to at first, at least it was for me, and they definitely need some edits to make them easier to use.

I thinkkkk that mineimator is a decent start to learning animation, since it took me a bit longer to get used to blender as a whole. Moving from mineimator to blender is quite tricky too since things are very different in blender though.

But it’s totally worth to try what suits you best methinks :D

Hello, I retextured my Petra a bit and made two outfits for her, though I think they're not very complete yet and I've yet to learn how to work with hair textures and such. But methinks... :D

Yeahhh so, this is a vent animation. I started it all the way in February and lost the motivation with it, but eventually I turned it into a school project which pushed me to finish it. I think it's the best animation I've made so far, and despite the flaws and lacking things I see in it, I like how it turned out. It took me so long to make it, and I would like to move on from it now.

Things have been awfully rough... But animating has definitely helped me in a way. I am only hoping for brighter days and better luck for the future.
