I want to change that because I do still love writing for him, and I love our little community, so I’m going to work towards clearing some of the drafts here. however, I’m going to have to drop some threads in order to do that. it probably won’t be many, and I’ll put up a list of the ones I’m dropping and tag the necessary people once I’ve made the decision, but it’s for my own sanity

I can predict now that they’ll probably be ones that don’t really have a set direction (therefore harder to write for) or ones like the text threads bc I have a thousand of them lurking in the drafts and as much as I love them, a few do fall into the former category of ‘no direction’. reminder that we can always start new things later. if we only have one or two threads, don’t worry, I’m not like to drop them! and it does not mean, whatsoever, that I don’t want to rp with you anymore if I do drop something!

1. What drew you to Tumblr Roleplaying?

I was following a few Tolkien blogs and decided to make my own and it was just one long downhill slope from there tbh.

2. Did you RP somewhere else prior to Tumblr? Where else?

Email, a couple of IM services.

3. What is your favorite part of RPing?

Exploring the characters beyond what we’re given in canon (which can sometimes be seriously lacking), and creating wonderful AUs and worlds with some truly fantastic and talented people~

4. What is your least favorite part of RPing?

The drama. The pointless hate.

5. Any former muses you miss writing?

Logan. Logan. I miss my grumpy Canadian mutant so much.

6. What’s your favorite thing about your muse?

He takes no shit from anyone. I can relate. BUT ALSO HIS LOYALTY like c’mon he pretends he doesn’t care a lot of the time but Charles’ loyalty runs deep and it shows.

7. Do you think that if you and your muse were to meet, you would get along?

I... honestly don’t know? I mean we’re similar in some aspects so maybe?

8. Is there any genre or setting of Roleplay that you cannot stand?

A/B/O and everything that comes with it. I don’t get it. At all. Nope. 

9. Do you ever reread threads? Which ones?

Sometimes, aye. I’ll often reread things if it’s been a while since the last reply, too, just to refresh my memory.

10. Is there any particular plot or dynamic which you haven’t yet had the chance to RP that you want to? What is it?

I don’t think so? At least across all my blogs. My threads are fairly diverse in setting and theme tbh.

11. What are your favorite books?

It took him several moments to track the waving of her hand and focus on the gleam at her finger. It was another couple of moments until his hungover, sleep-addled brain realised what he was looking at, and what it meant. Fuck. Fuck, fuck, fuck.

“Slow the fuck down.” He sighed, shoving her hand out of his face. “You think I want this? God, you’re a fucking nightmare, Guthrie. The last thing I want is to fucking marry you.” Glaring down at his own hands, he inspected the plain ring on his own finger, and tried to piece together the blank spaces in his memory.

The moment he saw Jack’s quick smile, he knew the perceptive bastard had caught him out. Lifting his chin defiantly, he scoffed at Jack’s words as if they meant nothing, were nothing, one shoulder jerking into a casual shrug that didn’t quite meet its mark. “You must be fucking drunk, Jack. Ain’t nothing I’m jealous of here.” A blatant lie, and one easily picked apart by the man infamously too clever for his own good, but it was now a matter of principle to keep denying it.

Charles had practically tuned Jack out with moments of him opening his mouth. It wasn’t disrespect that had borne this habit of his - had Jack been on a topic that provided sound advice he would have listened intently to every word, even if he believed nine out of ten of them to be entirely unnecessary. However, when it came to complaints from his quartermaster that would have no bearing on the running of the ship, he had a tendency to let his mind wander.
