i love how everyone in this show is everyone else. aemond is quite literally daemon. daemon wants to be rhaenyra. rhaenyra wants to be daemon and is supposed to be viserys but shes actually rhaenys. aegon wants to be rhaenyra. jacerys is no one that he wants to be. rhaena wants to be baela. baela wants to be her father. alicent wants to be anyone but who she is and instead shes all of her children at once and thats why she cannot stand to look at them and thinks maybe if she saves helaena she can save herself

I love how Emma D'Arcy played Rhaenyra hesitating and almost scared to kill Otto in that final scene. She's known him probably all her life, he was her best friend's father, and even if she hates him, it's not easy for her to just ignore that and kill him.
I think it adds a really interesting dimension to what could've been a flat revenge scene since the whole war can definitely be traced back to Otto in some respects. It's not satisfying for her in the end to kill him. It almost paralyzes her as she walks up the throne room steps and haunts what should be a victorious occasion.
