Inuyasha Stage Love♡

🏮InuYasha stage play outfit! 🏮

Recently came to my sight that a live-action of InuYasha already existed. It is not a movie but a stage play. And yeah, I watched it… not completely, but enough to insert in mind the idea of making a draw of InuYasha with the live-action outfit.

I’m in love with this new look, maybe a more adult InuYasha would wear this. It would be so cool.

This fact wasn’t given, as far as I know, so we can only speculate. One major reason for Shippo’s absence could be the rules that excists for childeren who act. If Shippo were in the play, he had to be cast by a minor. In that case you would have to obide the rules considering minors. 

The play has to be performed within a certain span of hours and there is time limit in the evening. 

For example in the Kuroshitsuji musicals they use minors to play Ciel. At one evening the kid had to leave early during the curtain call, because he wasn’t allowed on stage anymore. 

Acting is work and there are strict rules for minors that have a ‘job’. 

Childeren of course go to school too and they have to take this in account when performing in the evening and when they have rehearsals.

A lot of you want give a donation as a thank you to the Inu Subbing Team for subbing the InuYasha Stage play.  This is really sweet of you, but we cannot accept. 

We did this because we love the series just as much as you do and we wanted to make the play accessible for all the fans out there who don’t speak Japanese.  If you do feel in debt then please buy something from the play like the merchandise or maybe even the original DVD. The DVD is region free and holds more than just the movie. Also, the cast did an amazing job and deserve all the credit.  Even if you live outside of Japan it is possible to get the Stage Play items. More information on how to buy them can be found here [x] And if you are not interested in these items yet feel obliged to make a donation, then please consider to make a donation to an animal shelter nearby your home. Winter is coming and a lot of ‘Inu’ all over the world are without a home and warm place to stay and the shelters will need all the help they can get.

The download link will be made available after the second stream.  This blog is also an information blog about the Play. And if they will ever do a second play (since they kept an open ending, it is possible), this blog will keep everyone updated. 

I’ve opened the stream room. 

I have been asked several times why I won’t upload the subbed file of the Stage Play, so people can download it.

Strange enough some even have become very dissrespectful and rude when I tell them it will be uploaded, but only after the 2 streams. Apparently they don’t want to wait.

Uhm… 😑 Then sub it yourself?

Those that join the stream will have the opportunity to be the first to witness the play with subs. And the play will be without the watermark that will be attached to the download file.

And before anyone will comment on the watermark, I made it because it is known such files will be ‘stolen’ and often uploaded somewhere by some who will claim it as their own.

We put a lot of hard work in this to make it accessible and to share it with fans all over the world who can’t understand Japanese. The watermark is just to make sure that 'stealing’ it will be a little harder.

Also, it being a play it would be fitting to watch it with an audience.

Since so many of us weren’t able to go to Japan and visit it 'live’, this is an excellent opportunity to watch with other InuYasha fans.

The play itself was first shown on stage before it was broadcasted on Fuji TV and the DVD release. So, just see this as an extra on stage performance, only now with subs ;) And you don’t even have to travel for it or buy a ticket. Just a strong internet connection will do.

And after this 'premiere’, as it were, you can have access to the file to enjoy it again and again as many times as you like.

Please remember that we subbed it for you all because, like you, we love this series very much and we wanted everyone being able to watch it and to understand it. Also, we make no money from this.
