What are some canon-divergent fics that put the kikyo triangle at the forefront of the plot? I rewatched seasons 1 and 2 (so angsty🫠) and I’m needing some good hurt/comfort where Inuyasha commits to Kagome early/before Kikyo dies.

Hi anon, we' ve got some angsty love-triangle-centric stories for you!

We previously compiled a couple lists involving the InuKagKik love triangle: one where Kagome is insecure about Kikyo and Inuyasha reassures her, and another where Kagome thinks Inuyasha has chosen Kikyo but it's all a misunderstanding.

For this list, we found a handful more stories that weren't on the previous lists, have lots of angsty love triangle drama, and feature Inuyasha committing to Kagome before Kikyo's death.

In an attempt to narrow the field a little bit, we tried to choose fics that really put your heart through the wringer and then thoroughly soothe the pain at the end with copious fluff. We managed to find one fic that was directly inspired by Len's Eroween series, which we put at the top of the list below.

The rest of the stories on the list have some elements of what you were looking for, but aren't exact fits. In order to provide more reading material for anyone interested in this genre, we had to stretch the prompt a bit...so some stories don't have smut, some have Kagome in the role of an angel and some have Inuyasha as a human or an angel himself. Also please be aware that several of the fics are unfinished.

Hi anon! We searched far and wide to try and find stories based on Bram Stoker's Dracula, but unfortunately weren't able to come up with much. Even after widening the search criteria to any and all vampire InuKag fics, we still only managed to find the 11 below (including the one mentioned in your ask).

We honestly thought there would be more, but many of the ones we came across only have a couple chapters and/or were abandoned 20+ years ago. There are a couple unfinished stories in the list below, but the majority are complete and all feature Inuyasha as a vampire.

Alright, I can’t remember how exactly it begins but Kagome goes to her world, her friends set her up on a date with Hojo (?) and her friends are with some other guys to go to a bar or club and go dancing.

Inuyasha demands to come, he gets some modern clothes, Kagome ogles ofc.

They show up and he’s jealous/possessive of her, Hojo is oblivious.

They get to the place and it’s awkward, there is not enough chairs at the table for everyone so Inuyasha pulls Kagome into his lap.

Kagome and Hojo slow dance I think??? Kagome is bored out of her mind, I think her and Inuyasha dance snd then she gets knocked over and almost stomped on by the crowd? Inuyasha finds her and pulls her out of the club and they make out outside (???ithink??)) and the limon.

I would like to know if you have any inukag figs where the relationship between kagome and kikyo is better!

Preferably if kikyo soul longs to be with kagome's and her source of jealousy for kagome is because her angry part was dispatched, also kikyo feeling jealous of Inuyasha being with kagome because she can't reunite with her soul.

I know this last part is more specific, but if there aren't fics like that just kikyo liking more kagome and like protecting her after her initial jealousy would be perfect! Also preferred if is canon universe, but is okay if it is au!

Hi anon, we tried our best! It was difficult to find InuKag fics that are sympathetic to Kikyo (a list we previously compiled), so finding canon-based stories that have a positive Kagome & Kikyou relationship with InuKag endgame was even tougher.

That being said, we managed to find two stories that match most of what you were looking for (the first two in the list below). The rest of the fics linked below aren't exactly what you asked for, but feature Kikyo and Kagome having a better relationship, being more understanding of each other, or just interacting in a kinder way.
