Moving is tough.

Last week was one of those weeks where I got dangerously overwhelmed with London. I was talking about moving out on Wednesday and crying on my bike on Saturday.

It only took a wonder around Crystal Palace on Tuesday this week to fall in love with the city once again, a cycle that’s been going on for 9 years now.

The Jubilee Stand of the athletics stadium at Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, a mass of concrete erected in 1977. Sign peeling off, concrete crying, a classic sad and beautiful brutalist beast.

Walked past a Modernist block of flats in Sydenham on the way to the station, in the style of Austin Vernon’s classic estates. This definitely goes on my vision board.
