Trying to frame ableism as an anti- vs pro-endogenic issue feels like petty discourse, and I think regardless of your perspective on endogenics, everyone would be better off realising plural discourse is... well in simple terms, not that deep.

System discourse has been inflated to be severe and harsh, but I think it would be helpful to take a step back and contextualise it.

Neither "group" is really united enough to make such broad statements, and this is... largely internet discourse that doesn't leave system 'spaces' at all.

For example, the idea that endogenics have ruined the mental healthcare system and are the reason people are ableist towards CDDs is... well, it implies that a sizable group of people even know what "endo" is referring to in this context.

I'm not saying it's not important to us, plural people who post online, but trying to upscale this is... unhelpful.

im an a alter in a diagnosed, traumagenic system (if thats important) and i just wanted to say that transplurals and non-traumagenic systems are not taking resources from us. 99% of them arent claiming to be disordered and arent trying to get a diagnosis because they know they wont meet the criteria.

so, if they’re not talking to the therapists and psychiatrists who could be spending their time studying up on and diagnosing you, just what resources are they realistically taking from us traumagenic systems? simply plural? i know there were whispers about going on strike against them for allowing endos to use their app at some point, but simply plural is a free app, so endos using it isn’t affecting anyone. pluralkit? again, it’s free. and roleplayers and fictionkins use pluralkit.

Ok let's talk.

#1 Just because someone is not getting diagnosed does not mean they're not getting therapy. There are absolutely endogenic systems that seek out therapy with cdd specialists to be able to talk about their plural related issues. That does take away from the number of cdd systems who can get therapy. I personally don't think endogenic systems should be blamed for that but it's a fair frustration to have.

#2 There are absolutely transplurals seeking a diagnosis. Unfortunately, the transplural label includes those who are "transdid" or "transosdd." They are seeking a diagnosis. I've had the displeasure of seeing their posts.

#3 If it wasn't very obvious, my main problem with transplurals is that they aligned themselves with ableists and racists (transable and transrace folks). Willogenic and tuplagenic systems are perfectly fine in my book.

I PROMISE you no endos are seeking out CDD professionals. If you’ve seen evidence of this, do share it. But either way, yeah, they shouldn’t be blamed for the sad lack of CDD professionals to begin with.

As stated in another reblog, I’m not talking about TransDIDs and TransOSDDs. That’s a different can of works. I’m talking about the non-traumagenic identifying TransPlurals.
