Get in loser, we’re going to the farmers’ market

hoping on to say i miss college. my friends, the sun, the trees, stone buildings. i miss walking to class in skirts and boots and sitting in the widow seats and the cedar desks on this third floor in the library. i miss reading under string lights and drinking teas with my roommate, then drinking champagne on a wednesday night because why not. talking about weekend plans and driving down the mountain just to thrift shop and eat a dinner out. winter break has separated me from this bubble of a life that i’ve found.

Every single relationship will get “boring” after you’ve been together for ages. Love isn’t a feeling, it’s a commitment; to love every day, physically and emotionally. It’s hard afff, it’s not always laughs and smiles and fun. People tend to quit when it stops being cute. “Oh the spark is gone.” No, that’s not how it works. You want somebody to never give up on you and love you unconditionally? Do the same. This isn’t Hollywood, this isn’t romantic happy ever after bs. Love someone when you don’t want to, when they are being a fricken asshole. When they’re being hard to love. That’s thats the realist shit there is.

This makes me think of a dry summer day, large windows with white curtains flowing with the breeze, wooden floors, a mattress on the floor, raspberries, wine, and a lover by my side……..
