I’m going to be honest, sometimes I regret it. Not because my old life was so great I can’t believe I decided to be a mom, no it’s more like I realized I made peace with the fact his dad won’t be around but I never thought about how he has to face that demon now. I miss my freedom, not having to worry about anything. Spending my money & not thinking about another person. It’s so fucking hard. Being responsible for another human being all by yourself. I didn’t know how hard it truly is, but the love I have for my son when I look @ him, I can’t believe it. To love someone so much I’d do anything for him. I’m still trying to adjust to my new life & my new normal. Everything’s different, but for the better. I know God wouldn’t put me in this road if he knew I wouldn’t be able to survive & thrive in it. I just need to trust it. I wish his dad would come around & realize his son is amazing. I wish one day he comes around. I will be successful for my son, I owe it to him to be the best version of me. He deserves the best.
