Hey friends! My husband & I need help covering our vet bills for our baby girl, Maggie.
Last night I noticed an aural hematoma on her right ear & we took her to the vet first thing this morning. Today's visit was $357.00. We're disabled, queer, & live below the poverty line; we haven't had any income since June 15th due to a lingering illness on my part in which my husband had to be the sole caretaker of our kid (and me, his sick as fuck wife) and therefore not work at all.
Maggie needs surgery this Friday (July 17th) to have an aural hematoma drained, at least two possibly cancerous growths removed, her back teeth cleaned (a fully mouth cleaning is more expensive), & her nails clipped. She has an ear infection & needs additional blood work to determine the cause of her low thyroid levels & make sure her platelets are a good level for surgery.
