I Don’t wanna be perceived aaaaaah

Artemis (Martyn/ Nobody): Swinub- with Martyn’s boar ability, I decided to switch him to a boar (or boar adjacent) Pokémon. Swinub and it’s line also use their noses to find food in the icy mountains, so there’s a potential for tracking there too.

Hephaestus (Abolish): Charcadet- Abolish seems to be leaning into the fire aspect of Hephaestus? Plus, I feel like Charcadet fits the arena fighter vibe more than Tinkatink. We could say that the forge the armor to evolve Charcadet together when the time comes.

Going in, my criteria was: pokemon that can evolve further (so they can grow and develop alongside the story) and no legendarys or mythicals (so there would not be one champion with an advantage over the others)

Zeus (Legundo): Blitzle- Zeus is the god of thunder and storms, so I am probably going to go with an electric type. Blitzle appear when thunderclouds cover the skies, and it’s evolved form Zebstrika makes the sound of thunder when it runs.

Aeolus (Scott): Swablu- Aeolus is the god of Wind, so a flying type seems fitting. Scott seems to be going with cloud symbolism, so i figured the cloud bird fit. I can imagine him making a dramatic entrance on his dramatic bird-dragon

Artemis (Martyn): Rockruff- Artemis is goddess of the hunt, so hunting dog. Would probably evolve into either Midnight or Dusk form

Athena (Pyro): Smoliv- When deciding who would be the patron god of Athens, Athena made an olive tree. This won her the competition, and the olive became one of her symbols. Smoliv is an olive, and I’ve always thought of this myth when I see the line.

Chronos (Owen): Natu- Chronos is the god of time. Natu’ evolution Xatu is able to see both the past and the future. The time traveling Pokémon are all legendarys so I’m going with seeing different points in time.

Hermes (Sausage): Nickit- Part of Hermes’s domain are Thieves and Travelers. Nickit has sticky fingers (paws?)

Morpheus (Apo): Munna- Morpheus is the god of dreams. Munna and it’s evolution Musharna eat peoples dreams.

Nyx (Pearl): Poochyena- Nyx is the goddess of Night, so I wanted to go with a dark type. I chose poochyena because of Pearls connections to dogs, though I’ll admit it’s connection to Nyx is a little flimsy.

Hephaestus (Abolish): Tinkatink- Hephaestus is the god of the Forge. Tinkatink created its own hammer.

Tyche (Shelby): Togepi- Tyche is the goddess of luck, so Togepi is mainly chosen for its hidden ability Super Luck. It eventually evolves into a flying type, so it kind matches the wing on Shelby’s helmet. I chose it mostly because it’s final evolution Togekiss reminded me the most of her design out of Pokémon with Super Luck.

Pan (Cleo): Skiddo- Pan is the god of the Wilderness, and is depicted as a Saytr. Cleo themself is also a Saytr. Skiddo is a grass goat. I’ll admit, I’m not quite happy with this one so I might change it.

Apollo (Drift): Larvesta- Apollo is a god of the Sun (I will note that this is a later title given to him) Larvesta is “Believed to have been born from the Sun” (black Pokédex)
