4. If one partner likes to spend money like thereโs no tomorrow, it helps to have one that knows how to pinch pennies and say โwe donโt need thatโ in order to save.
5. Speaking of saving, start doing it. Now. Life married or not is expensive. And accidents and incidents are bound to happen.
6. Speaking of accidents, bundling your auto insurance can usually result in a marriage discount. Now that is some nice savings too.
7. Even if you like the color blue, not everything in a house should be blueโฆ and I guess same could be said about the color black. Green is nice too.
8. If you want to get in and out of a grocery store quickly, donโt take your partner. Especially if said partner likes to check on what new sauces are on the shelves. Because there are always new sauces to check out at the grocery store.
9. Ask permission before starting a tv show without your spouse. Chances are youโll get a guilt trip later for not waiting to watch something you didnโt think theyโd be interested in, because according to them, every show must be discussed first. #dontnetflixandchillsolo
10. Itโs a nice treat to bring surprises home for your spouse, even if itโs something as simple as a candy bar. Shows them you were thinking of them while you were out.
11. The kitchen gets messier, the dishwasher fills up faster, and laundry feels like weโre each wearing 5 outfits a day. Cleaning is now a part time job.
