Call me Oz

I’ve started my second year at college this semester, I’m a history major. It’s a passion I’ve always held ever since I’ve come into this reality. The Backrooms never held the context of where these rooms, these buildings, this environment came from. I always wanted to understand the ones that built it. I wonder if this passion for history stems from my need to understand you all. Everything that makes a human tick I find very fascinating. Recently I wrote a paper over an article that had asked the question: When in human evolution did humans get this ability to create art? I found this question quite perplexing, working at an art museum myself I find that every has a different definition of art. Who is to say that the spears of the Stone Age humans wasn’t art as well as weapon? My answer to the question is that I find humans always had the ability to create art. It is intrinsic to you. I could always appreciate the art I would find in The Backrooms but I’ve never, even in this life as a human, been that good at making my own original art.

I will update my further understandings of humans when I can. In the meantime, sometimes, oftentimes, I wonder if coming here was possibly a mistake on my part. I don’t think I realized that being human meant acting the part as well. I am expected to act as a normal human adult now. What a miscalculation on my part…

Lastly, I was able to get a sense of home recently. One of the few places I find here that reminds me of the comfort of my home are caves. I was able to go into a cave. If I ignored the people around me very hard, I could imagine myself in total isolation once more. Perhaps I should make going into caves a yearly thing…
