A Fairy Tale Destination for the Weary Traveler!

⭐️⭐️ Lucine Firefly Sanctuary

Come admire the dawn lotus that grace the gravel banks of the Lucine River. These gentle blooms are a sanctuary for the endangered Orlesian Firefly and a must see for any road-weary traveler. Breathe the fresh, mist-laden air and marvel at the enchanting little creatures that inspired the folk tale, The Lion and the Firefly, a story of kindness repaid and finding light in the dark.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lake Celestine

The iconic lake is located just off the Imperial Highway between Montsimmard and Val Firmin. Lakeside campgrounds are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Even if you aren't campling, don't miss the chance for an evening visit, the lake shore providing an excellent and romantic view of the moonrise sure to thaw the hearts of even the most frigid of lovers.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Larmes-de-Roche Falls

A short hike from the Lake Celestine campgrounds, take the time to visit the impressive Larmes-de-Roche Falls, plunging a dramatic eighty-four feet over a sheer rock face. Take care not to find yourself spiralling on the tight switchbacks up to the top of the falls. Don't miss the cave tucked into the rock face behind the falls, a natural curiosity favoured by both local artists and honeymooners alike.

⭐️ The Exalted Plains

Currently inadvisable. Travellers are encouraged to instead enjoy the scenic forested side-roads, which only add a day or two to any journey.
