-i've learned that our culture varies around different groups. you should research where the salmonid is from and what their culture is there. almost all groups near the splatlands and inkadia believe in being eaten deliciously, but some place more emphasis on certain things than others. don't be general and be specific. it would be respectful to keep the belief intact as many of us salmonids hold it close.

-i don't think I watch enough Inkfish media to have a grasp on stereotypes, im getting a lot from my comrades. but focusing on one detail might be apart of stereotypes, and exaggerating that detail. a common stereotype, our dj says, is showing salmonids never speaking the main language in the story and being treated as obstacles instead of characters. if they are supposed to be a character, another stereotype is them constantly fighting with the other characters 'for honor', and putting all that emphasis on 'for honor'. yes, we fight for honor, but if that's the whole character, it should be a stereotype.
