At the current point in history we have:

Mo and He dating (apparently).

He Tian being the most romantic and passionate boyfriend.

Jian Yi and Xixi are not together yet, unfortunately.

What if Mo and Jian Yi end up in an alternate universe where He Tian still hates Mo Guan Shan and Jian Yi and Xixi is the one they're dating?

Here are some points:

•Mo and Jian have the closest relationship. I find it interesting that the 4's meeting as a future group of goofy friends only happens and unfolds because of Jian Yi and Mo. This seems underexplored, they should definitely be BFFs.

• The two will stop together in this parallel reality. One will really want to go back because he lost his boyfriend and the other doesn't want to go back at all because he finally got his boyfriend.

• NSFW. I'm a naughty girl and I still imagine an angry fuck hostage to carnal desires between He Tian and Mo that even though they don't have mutual feelings it's kind of obvious that attraction between them is clearly indisputable. Jian Yi will be giving all the adoration he can to his finally beau in bed. The blonde will only be there to satisfy her man now that she can.

• Mo's turn. I didn't think much about why maybe He Tian still dislikes Mo Guan Shan, on deeper thoughts maybe if He Tian was the poor one this time he would be the boy bitter towards the rich. Or maybe the point of the story stopped further on and the stoned event had already happened, but in that moment the Mo from the original universe stopped walking with the snake immediately. From there, the relationship between the two would unfold. The redhead trying to prove to He that he's not that kind of person instead of He Tian finding out like he was in the original.

•Finally Zhanyi. If the stoned happened then maybe they could start dating in the hospital. But and now? Fear a Jian Yi having gay panic of Xixi always matching his advances and even initiating them. However, not everything can be rosy, so how can we end this relationship?

Perhaps we are at a more established point in this relationship, Jian Yi still feels awkward about his (new) relationship, but everything he can't get used to is happy. However... Jian Yi will have to go. This will also be inevitable in this universe, and to make it more dramatic: Faking your own death.

How can he die knowing he's going to leave the heart of the man he loves completely torn apart at the price of his safety? It's too much anguish. Maybe if Xixi didn't love so much her "death" would hurt less...

•Happy ending? They will return to their original universe, sure, but will it be a happy return? Jian Yi doesn't fully know about Zhan's feelings yet, and since he already knows that he's going to disappear in the original as well, he won't advance their relationship so far as to not be so painful for his best friend, thus still keeping him safe. The good thing is that in this universe he doesn't have to be so dramatic and pretend he died, so he can give hope that he can return to Xixi.

Mo, on the other hand, really prefers her boyfriend the way he is, spoiling him and giving him all the love he never imagined wanting. Maybe it will make him say I love you back.
