It wasn’t until after he looked down at the sheet with his housing arrangements that the full weight of his situation pressed upon him.
"….husband? Child?"
The rabbit stared at the paper, a loss for words as he reread the words on the sheet. A part of him wished this was a joke, but the more he read, the more he realized this was reality.
He was married.
He had a child.
He didn’t have Alice.
He hated this place.
There's an odd man standing in the middle of the sidewalk, glaring down at a sheet of paper that Jack immediately notices on his way back home. It's truly an odd sight, not even including the other's animal-like features that remind him of his own husband.
He can do one of two things: continue on home, or see what this man is all about--the obvious choice here is to check to see if the other is having a hard time and that's exactly what Jack does!
"Hey, hey, what's got you all riled up?"
