TanPre New Theory: Eclair of the End?
The prophecy of a Dark King emerging was Cure Eclair all along? Or perhaps it's Arcana Shadow about to unleash her force upon the world for not stopping the revival of Eclair?
Does that mean Luluka is the final boss then? Or penultimate boss at least?
She had intended to destroy Eclair's Makoto Jewel after getting it back from Usonoir, not so that Kurea's memories could return and enable her to transform again.
But since she failed to do so, it is now pivotal that the Phantom Thieves (who are presumably under Luluka's command atm) defeat the Cures at all costs. Otherwise, they will have no future.
Anna also revealed to Kurea in this episode that she is from the year 2027...which might be suggesting that Kurea's involvement is the reason for the discrepancies between 1999 and 2027.
Maybe even the occurrence of a timeline divergence altogether.
And there's also Arcana Shadow's diamond star symbol on Usonoir's armor. Did Luluka give Usonoir all that power? But that doesn't add up since they were enemies prior to the shattering of the Makoto Jewel...
Or perhaps somebody else gave Luluka that same power they gave to Usonoir? Which then allowed her to change from Cure Arcana -> Cure Arcana Shadow?
If so, it seems like there's another, even bigger villain hiding in the dark somewhere and Luluka is choosing to act as their dragon in order to prevent the future from being lost.
Given how ridiculously strong Eclair is and her usage of the Top of Lily, a collaborative product between the fairies and humans, she does seem capable of causing destruction that the world might not recover from.
Not to mention, this is her second time transforming. No individual Precure in the history of this franchise was THIS overpowered until now.
And if Eclair can't control her own strength, she will be more of a danger to the world than she is a help to it.
If that theory is anywhere close to true, then Luluka becoming a villain to oppose her former partner for the sake of protecting the world makes sense.
However, as Kurea said, white lilies represent purity and innocence. The pure can be easily corrupted or misled, leading them to stray off the path of their intention.
So it's quite possible that someone or something (or even Luluka herself) had taken advantage of Luluka's urgency to use against her.
Whatever it may be, it seems Luluka/Arcana Shadow has no choice but to fully embrace her role as the antagonist now.
