As much joy as your last missive brings to my heart, the penuries in which you put the servant that brought it, were enormous. Said that, it’s a true bliss know how well you are, even if my stubborn presence isn’t there to provoke your involuntary laugh.
While you deal with my main éreinteur and his obscure ideas hidden behind pompous as unnatural manners, I’m pleased to spend my journey along with just two of my men and some peasants knowers of this path. I intuit you shall strongly disagree with idea, but it’s the only way I can do to lead this enterprise to a happy conclusion.
Like I pointed to you before my journey started, my goal is to get a new compound that improves the separation of the precious minerals from other worhless wastes. You may say that a journey of this magnitude is an idiocy, but any kind of bother is always necessary in favour of the Light of Knowledge.

it is not of my place to dictate how you travel or with whom, mon cher. your company is that of your own and i’ve no intentions of arguing with your decisions as i believe that you know what is best for yourself. i only ask that said company is able to ensure your safety. i am well aware that you are able to handle yourself, but as ta femme, i worry. such journeys i know can be tiring for you and i do not wish to receive word of you overexerting yourself. florimond has been asking for you. he misses his father, as do i. i fear i cannot continue to calm his fears that you are not returning. i understand your work is important to you, but perhaps it’s time to rest. your family needs you here and the church could do with thinking that you are no longer practicing la sorcellerie. send your larbins to continue your work and return to us. it is, of course, ton décision and i will respect it no matter what, but i urge you to consider.
