There's so many instances but I'm just listing those because they absolutely could have omitted those things but kept them in.
Again, i know changes were made but i stand by my statement that this is one of the greatest adaptations of all time.

The further we get along in the episodes, the closer to the pledge conference we get. I both love and hate it. It's such a good sequence but I will be sobbing uncontrollably. but for now we still have some time

Also i love the design of his umbrella. Matches the theme of like the opening, and the black smoke of resentment making its way into the pure white. Same with the tassel hanging from the handle. There's so much symbolism.
And i'm jumping ahead a little bit, but when he lets the umbrella drop and the rain fall on him, my friend made the comment of "He's finally truly learning to embrace imperfection"
