I can't remember if (during my first watch) it was during this sequence or earlier, but I do know at some point I was like "HE'S AN EVIL TWINK!!!!!!"

Mingjue only sparing Meng Yao a second time because he helped save Xichen (at least that's what I believe), I'm sure him helping with the battle plans was also helpful but I believe what really convinced him was saving Xichen, cause that's his bff

Ah yes the healing song, that certainly can't be used for evil
(also, i legit LOVE this song, Lin Hai, the composer for CQL, did a great job at combining the soothing healing correct part and then the twisted corrupted part later? then the back and forth???? PERFECTION)

I cannot deny, when Mingjue goes to confront Guangyao about Xue Yang, and Guangyao does a fancy dodge and ends up with guards behind him??? Pretty badass little moment
And I love this whole exchange about who is right and who is wrong. But Mingjue calling out "I would never kill out of personal desire, and I would certainly never kill to climb the ladder."
And then the kick down the stairs hehehehe
