This book I’m reading, the stone cold mysterious smart brilliant FBI agent, is LITERALLY just June Iparis if she was queer (still headcanoning that she is at least bisexual) but in a modern setting because HOLY FUCK.

Its the ray of sunshine journalist and stoic cold FBI agent falling for each other. Theres sarcasm and banter and im giggling and kicking my feet. Theyre trying to catch a serial killer in a small town, there’s a thriller element and obvs mystery. The romance is slow burn but it’s not in your face. The mystery element is actually really good. The chapters are short and suspenseful. Also in 2 POVs in first person. And we got Bi rep lads!

If anyone’s curious, the book is called Dead Tide by Jane Marks. Read it. It’s worth it I promise.
