Norah as aromantic/asexual 

- Norah is indifferent, not repulsed. she just has no particular interest in either romance or sex. there’s a long while where she feels like she’s broken for not wanting romance, but it takes her a while (like, into her twenties) to even realize she’s never wanted sex since it doesnt really come up

- They see a lot of romantic signs of affection as just friendly things that they're totally down with doing. Probably ends up in a QPR 

- If will hadn’t died and they’d stayed friends into adulthood i bet they wouldve been in one.

- always down to cuddle and hold hands with the homies. in fact would love to do that! 

- gets absolutely nothing out of kissing but has no problems with it. will and her have def kissed in the past (see that one fic with a line like will: “its gonna be hard to convince my mom we’re just friends after this” norah: “my parents think youre gay” of which is what im thinking about as i write this) 

- comes out to her friends when lui is telling them he feels broken in the context of being ace. and shes like “i think i might be broken too” and it’s tragic. probably like 3 in the morning. maybe its even just lui and norah here, will and isaac are asleep and the two of them just confide in each other

- Norah never really considered their gender as anything other than woman growing up, but when they started researching into queerness and being trans for isaac (spoilers my isaac post is transfem isaac lmfao) they discovered some labels that kinda spoke to them

- i love my little guys (norah and william). they're both therians. trust (i say as if this isnt literally fucking canon). norah is a red panda therian and william is a wolf-hearted grey fox therian supernatural otherkin

- norah makes all their masks because william tried to make his own and it came out REALLY goofy. she made herself a mask while he was doing that, then made him his own mask (it’s mostly obviously a fox but there’s a lot of little aspects of him being a wolf involved) and then was having enough fun that she wanted to make isaac and lui masks too

- isaac and lui are just here for the ride on this front. isaac is totally chill with wearing a tail and norah makes him a mask to wear with them and he even does quads with them for fun (he’s not anywhere near as good as they are at it). isaac’s mask and tail are inspired by a mutt dog of some variety that's def very like, big "mean" dog core

- lui is TERRIBLE at quads so he doesnt do them very often, he’s NAWT coordinated enough for that. but he enjoys hanging out with them, and sometimes will throw like a frisbee for them or referee a race. he’s also very much just a guy but lets them dress him up for funsies, he’s got a grey cat mask and tail - they had a very long discussion trying to figure out what animals lui and isaac were before settling on a hyper specific breed of cat for lui and a vague “mutt” for isaac that def includes german shepherd on some level. possibly also pitbull. very “seems intimidating and mean but is the softest guy ever” dog core - william also identifies as a vague supernatural otherkin. he doesnt know WHAT he is just that hes something more than a grey fox. he knows theres something “other” about him, something not human and not animal.  (see him becoming the supernatural in PD)

- norah and william like to practice their quads together, and they used to do it in the woods before things really started going to shit. now they shove the furniture out of the way in the basement and practice down there since there’re no nice fields that’re properly obscured but dont make them want to cry near Deadwood

- william does way more vocals than norah, he's already considered really weird so he doesn't really care. it's kinda second nature to make animal noises, so he tends to growl or hiss when upset and make pathetic little whining or barking noises where appropriate. every once in a while it'll come out somewhere embarrassing and he'll just die inside

- norah, my repressed bbg, is way less inclined toward doing vocals. she gets the urge to do them and whatnot but she's always scared someone's gonna make fun of her

- when she's feeling especially feral (see 1.2 climbing into the ceiling) or close to her animal soul she'll 100% make vocals. also when william is really "into it" (how else do i even phrase that) she'll join him. him being comfortable with himself makes it easier for her to do it

- she LOVES quads tho. probably even more than william. being on all fours is so fun for her, enough that she risks being seen by her parents to do them at home. she ALWAYS runs up the stairs on all fours and her parents think it's adorable

- isaac totally matches will's energy when doing vocals. if william growls at him he's GONNA growl back. isaac isn't even a therian but he's really good at mirroring the people around him and has fun matching the animal vibe

- william shifts far more than norah, and far deeper than her (most of the time). especially around his friends

- (angst headcanon time mwehehe) see him shifting when he's really stressed/scared/in a Horrible SituationTM and it's just him being more animal than human while running from the Shtriga in 1.3. see him growling and snapping his teeth and when his friends finally catch up with him he can't fully snap out of it.

- see less angsty: him howling with joy at them defeating the shtriga (isaac totally joins in)

- norah feels her phantom limbs a LOT. william less than her but he also gets phantom limbs a lot, too. the two of them have identified as therians for so long that they subconsciously avoid each others phantom limbs appropriately (ie will see's norah is excited so he walks in a wider loop around her knowing her tail's probably wagging, norah avoiding will's ears when ruffling his hair, etc)

- norah keeps her nails kinda long & sharp because they feel more like her claws

- william doesnt do that (hates how it feels) but he's found that having them black makes him think of his claws (he can't explain it. norah pointed out that foxes and wolves dont have black claws, and he's chalking it up to it being part of whatever his otherkin situation is)

- the four of them regularly try to figure out what supernatural creature will is but he hasn't got a clue. norah finds it a fun little mystery to research and every once in a while she'll read a supernatural based book and will bring it up to him

- lui also randomly is like "Hey d'you think youre a [random supernatural creatre]?" while reading through his occult research books

- william and norah both growl in their sleep, especially if you bother them. isaac makes jokes about it being silly and lui makes jokes about it being scary
