        ( bryce wants to be vehement, to sound like he means                 the words he says, but his throat hurts and talking is tough. )

❝i didn’t think i was ever going to be happy again, baby. i missed you so much.       you make me so happy, princess. please don’t ever leave me again.❞ 

❝ Have you been working out? Did you grow again? ❞ She asks, giggling quietly as she presses a kiss to the corner of his mouth.

      it wasn’t an unusual response, the way her composure  faltered slightly under his intense stare, it was a mannerisms jett had grown used to, by now. at first, jett thought it to be rather lovely,  innocent, he still does, but now — the fact that she was just so damn shy even with him.. it made  him rather curious. they’re  such good  friends & yet, she still feels exceedingly self aware around him. self conscious, even. upraising his  shoulders into a  nonchalant shrug, jett will  fold his arms over his rhythmically heaving torso, one lid fluttering closed in an innocent  wink. ❝ just wondering. i’ve  been looking for it for a while, actually. looks better on you, than i. keep it if you want. ❞

    Addison always wonders what Jett thinks about when he looks at her like that. Is it anything in particular? Is there some thought that makes his eyes glint like that? She assumes it's a thought not to do with her, but under the unwavering gaze of his eyes, she can't help but blush, still, after all this time that they've known each other. The wink. Oh, the wink. She'll swear up and down that her knees didn't get weak (but they definitely did). ❝ O-Oh? You have? A-Are you sure you don't want it back, Jett? ❞ She asks, moving closer to put one knee on the couch. ❝ I can go change, and you can take it back if you'd like. ❞
