I am normally a very forgiving person. However, there are some boundaries that when crossed, cause me to LOSE MY FREAKING MIND. What I am talking about is a violation of the document that OUR FOUNDING FATHERS wrote during the birth of this great nation. I am talking about THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. In the FIRST AMENDMENT to the BILL OF RIGHTS, all American citizens are guaranteed the right to freedom of religion, association, press, petition, and speech. Today, my freedom of free speech AND my FREEDOM of religion were both violated SEVERELY by two adult, mid 40s individuals. If anyone sees them, please tell them that THEY ARE BEING IRRATIONAL. A baby, scientifically, does NOT hear noises until age three, so confiscating my TWO DOLLARS AND A WHOLE NINETY FIVE CENT slide whistle is NOT going to make a difference in whether or not the baby falls asleep. I was right in the middle of a HUGE solo when my instrument of choice (Stanley, my new slide whistle) was RUDELY and VICIOUSLY confiscated. I worship slide whistles, and now I cannot. VIOLATION NUMBER ONE. I was expressing myself and my right to some GOSH DARN FREE SPEECH through that slide whistle, and NOW I CANNOT. So please. Anyone. Get me a slide whistle so I can resume my amazing solo. Stanley Bless America.
