Who is benefiting from this auction?
2024 is yet another year of disease, disasters, and conflict. Accordingly, our default charity is once again Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF).
With a 4-star rating on Charity Navigator, this association of medical personnel and other supporting professions is committed to providing medical aid where it is needed most. MSF states their principles on their website:
We are independent, impartial, and neutral. We are guided by universal medical ethics. We are committed to bearing witness. We are transparent and accountable. We are committed to diversity, equity and inclusion.
Is this the only charity choice you provide?
While we believe that supporting MSF will provide a vast amount of help globally, we know that there are many smaller communities that are also in need, especially LGBTQIA+ and POC. If you have any suggestions, please let us know at [email protected]!
How can I participate?
We need offers for the auction! Feel free to look at previous auction master posts for ideas – 2021, 2020, 2019 Common items offered are fics of varying word count, art (digital or physical), crafts, fandom swag, and beta services. Is your talent making gifsets or fic title cards? We love to hear it! Podfic offers are always a fan favorite. Maybe you want to put up that sweet Inception sticker set you bought online and can’t bring yourself to stick anywhere. Please offer anything you think our fandom might enjoy! You can make your offers by emailing us at [email protected] and auction offers can be submitted now until July 6
Bid on the available items! The auction will open for bids on July 7 and will close on July 22. Bids will be placed on Dreamwidth (you do not need a Dreamwidth account to participate!)

This year's event was a rousing success for such a small fandom, and during a pandemic to boot. We appreciate everyone's participation! Over $280 was raised for MSF/Doctors without Borders, not to mention the amazing fandom content which was created!
