犬夜叉 ― Who the hell was this guy, anyway? Inuyasha had seen plenty of humans on Kagome’s side, but none like him. Usually, he just wrote them off as clueless — wandering through danger every day, barely noticing.
“Honestly, people around here aren’t exactly geniuses,” Inuyasha muttered, feeling a flicker of annoyance — and maybe a little embarrassment, too. This wasn’t like having Miroku or Sango jump in to help. This was a total stranger, and Inuyasha wasn’t exactly known for his warmth.
“Shut up ! You just caught me off guard, that’s all! If you’d stop running your mouth, maybe we could actually help those people you keep talkin' about!” He quicks on his jump, lifting himself up off the ground and leaping a whole two feet up above the strangers head, a way to show off, though he wasn't entirely sure just why yet.
