This Missal (Texts for the Mass), written in Gothic textualis script, contains a few large red and blue initials with penwork, and a full-page miniature of the Crucifixion with the Virgin Mary below on the left and John the Evangelist on the right. Written in northern Italy, between 1375 and 1425; Crucifixion miniature possibly added in southern Germany in the second half of the 15th century. The binding is very early; it may even be original (UPenn Ms. Codex 2053)

woah dude *gummies you*
could you also expand on when you said "the body isn't sacred, but should be treated well"?
When people believe bodies are “sacred vessels” it can send them down a sort of body fascism. Thinking there’s a right or wrong way to have you body, wanting to control others (and their own in extreme ways), & discriminating because there’s this association with believing something is sacred and brain-rotted purity culture. The body gets turned into an icon of worship and then something akin to religious psychosis has people destroying themselves without realising or policing others.
The body shouldn’t be restricted or controlled by others, it’s yours. You can do whatever you want to it. It’s your house. Decorate it however you like, destroy it, renovate it, whatever, but you’ll probably enjoy living in a nice house rather than a neglected one. Ultimately your choice though. Some people like living in abandoned buildings.
