I DIDNT REALIZE I SPELLED IT WRONG. I’ve never been there before and her mom doesn’t want her coming over to my house since I have a brother and a dad so I may spend the night at her house.

Sodapop moved out and for some reason it became a much more common occurrence for Darry to brush Ponyboy’s hair silently in Pony’s room, with everyday changing it seemed to happen alot. It was funny, usally he’d be crying and Pony assumed he just didn’t know what else to do but sometimes he felt like Darry did it just to soothe himself or even when he thought Pony was upset. Maybe he was right, that Darry didn’t know what else to say or do.
