There was no harm in accompanying the teacher to the religious studies classroom, was there? Motonari doubted any of the other few students were already present in the classroom. So he and the other were probably going to be staying in the room alone for a while before the rest of the class arrived.

(So it was probably going to be awkward)

“It just so happens that I’m taking your class. 

He really didn't see this coming; meeting one of his students so quickly and so early in the day. True, Religious Studies is scheduled to be... well, the first class of the day depending on the student! Who knew Motonari would arrive so early. Then again it could've been the fact that Sister chose the noisy way of testing the school wall's defense level.

The walk to the classroom is a long one from where he was, but within a few minutes of walking, the classroom was in sights.

"Your punctuality is a good trait for someone so young."

[ And since he had seen much before his encounter with Sister, the Angel was hardly phased by that death stare, holding his head high after eye contact was met. ]

[ As if someone like Sister could kill him, anyways. ]

“I suspect that God may be here.  This school is not normal, that I can tell.  I assure you, if God is truly here, then this school will most likely remain safe.”

[ … Though, eyeing the damage, that theory could be debatable.  God works in strange ways. ]

“Gunfire hardly disturbs me, I’ve seen much worse.  I was curious, that’s all.  There’s no need to worry about me, Sister.  Though, I can’t say the same for the others in this establishment.”

[ He turned his head to get another look at the man that towered above his vessel, before he figured a proper introduction would be unnecessary. ]

Such a fact, Sister is unaware of.

He could never be aware of how off-setting his demeanor can be. How terrifying a combination of his height, stare, and voice, could ever be perceived by another. He's used to the strange people of the riverbed already accustomed to the so-called unfit for society. He's used to soldiers. The heat of battle. He isn't used to "normal people" at all.

He only allowed his demeanor to lessen slightly in intensity. Intimidation was still present, albeit at a lower level. His shoulders were no longer stiff, at least. He didn't look like he was about to whip out a gun anytime soon.

"I assure you, if God is truly here, then this school will most likely remain safe.”

Such words reassured him further. Despite his upbringings, he is a devout believer of the Lord. The Christian God.

If this school truly is protected by the Lord...

"Ah. I guess you know how to get out of a deadly situation." There was a bit of pride in his tone, perhaps from stating something he himself is able to do even now. Dying in the battlefield isn't a concept familiar to Sister. He did not allow it to be.

The stranger's-- no, Castiel's-- introduction shocked him. A reaction so rare to get from Sister; quirked eyebrows, widened eyes, silence. He claimed himself to be an angel of God. He claims it so confidently and no nonchalantly. 

Back home, he had a reputation. A skill. Considering how easily he could read another person so well, he has gained the reputation of being a human lie-detector. Not once has he ever failed such a title. Even now he has no plans to let such a reputation die out. From that alone, his intuition, he could deduce (hesitantly)...

Castiel told the truth.

"A messenger of God...!"

This school truly is protected if the Lord went to such a hassle as to send Tancho Academy its very own guardian angel!

Yes, very easily. 

[ For now, Castiel began a basic search of the school grounds to familiarize himself with what would become his so-called home.  The only way to truly infiltrate this institution seemed to be by becoming a teacher.  Though he hardly knew the social norms of the students he would teach, he believed he could at least send them off with some knowledge of the Occult, to further protect themselves from the looming Apocalypse. ]

[ … If they could, anyway. ]

[ Much to Castiel’s disappointment, it really did seem to be just an average high school at first glance.  It would need further investigation, he thought, until he heard the sound of gunfire. ]

[ … Right.  Normal high school.  The Angel turned his head with widened eyes, only to see the culprit to be a… nun?  A nun initiating gunfire.  In all of his years, he couldn’t quite recall seeing that before. ]

[ With hesitance and curiosity in the mix, Castiel strode towards the strange man, approaching him from behind and looking at the damage. ]

Details were unclear and unimportant. Still, it remains a curiosity. What is important is his decision.

Despite his manner of dress, Sister remains hardened, hardly graceful and serene like any nun should be. The gaze meeting Castiel's is a harsh one; a killer's stare. The intensity of how intimidating he is has yet to be controlled-- he cannot help his "scariness". Six-foot-nine, primarily muscle, a scarred face, a cold stare: what isn't frightening about this man?

It's hard to not be scary. 

"It just proves how weak its foundation really is."

With that statement, his blue eyes met the bullet-ravaged wall again. How could he honestly live here? Away from his chapel? That place is built to withstand even a nuclear strike, and he's expected to stay somewhere which won't even withstand repeated gunfire...

Just as with everything else the clown did,  he preferred to make an anonymous entrance to the scene. He didn’t really care where he was, as long as he could make a statement. And what a statement he planned to make. He was in his element, almost manic as he sauntered along the hallway of the school.

In his hand was a mid-sized coin, burnt on one side. He was not the original owner of this coin, nor did he use it in the same manner its previous and rightful owner did.  He had his own calling card. It was  merely a relic from his past, a record of achievements. He wasn’t supposed to have this coin, and had gone through a lot to get it, and that made him like it more.

Pausing in the hallway a moment, the clown pulled a disappointed face.

An authoritative voice addressed the clown-looking male. It's hard to miss the source-- the man stood tall, hulking, just about. Sister has a class to teach in a few hours, however he chose to walk around and examine the school further from the inside. He couldn't sleep, anyways, and the time is still quite early. Too early for little students to want to get up, anyways. 

“Unfortunately, I don’t know as much as I would like to. I suppose the bulk of what I know is about the creation of humanity, as well as a few angels and their purposes. Not much beyond that, though … sir.”

"Don't expect any slack. My classes begin bright and early and I expect nothing short of being on point at all times."

He sounds more like a drill instructor than an actual teacher. The tall, proud stance he presented himself in did not waver a bit. Sister, despite the new life he's tried to give himself, has been and always will be a soldier. With a gaze as piercing as his, a sense of intimidation wouldn't be surprising. It takes someone with strong nerves to lie in front of this behemoth of a clergyman.

That was why, when he had discovered that the school he would be attending offered a class devoted specifically to it, he jumped at the opportunity.

Still, he hadn’t expected a man in a nun’s habit to be teaching the class. Ah well, differences were part of what made humanity beautiful, right? When the man began to raise his voice, Kaworu simply listened with rapt attention and folded his hands in his lap.

“Kaworu Nagisa, ah … sir? Madam? I’m afraid I don’t know what I should call you.”

The student introduced himself as Kaworu Nagisa. A Japanese name. A native, he would gather. He also possesses a calm demeanor-- a good quality in a student. Questioning whether to call him "sir" or "madam", however... To be frank, the veteran could get rich just by gaining a penny for every time he would be called "female" just by the garbs he chooses to wear.

If Sister was really that odd, the Doctor hadn’t noticed; all humans were odd, in their own little, special ways, and that’s exactly why they were so brilliant, exactly why he was almost happy to be here, teaching. Sure, there was a whole wide universe to explore, but he had time. All of it, in a little blue box. “Sister. Oh, like a nun, of course!”

Why didn’t the man use his proper name? It’d be rude to pry, though, especially when he was no better; The Doctor had left his real name behind, long ago, for the most part.

He isn't sure how to expand on that thought-- he wasn't aiming to. Instead he simply allows the minor subject to drop on its own. He could just be thinking too much. How unnatural of him, to think at a more frequent rate than to act. Such antics could get him killed one of these days. 

Nun. Oh, how often he gets such a title.

"Precisely." It's his preferred role, after all. He's long adopted the role as "sister" in the village, plus it's become something like his name. The name he chose to answer to in replacement of his birth name. With a new name comes new beginnings. Even so...

"I'm teaching here. My first scheduled lecture is tomorrow, however, so I must head to where I'm expected to sleep tonight. To look it over." To make sure it's """"safe"""". 

That brings up another concern. A room-mate. He's been briefed of having to live with a partner. Could his partner be trusted, he wonders? Or must he go to great lengths to keep said person at bay?

The young man was the last to judge anybody for their clothing, in fact, he was once dragged to a show of dancing men dressed as nuns, plus this was Japan. When he passed his first vending machine selling used panties, he decided he wasn’t even going to expect anything average happening during his stay. He was curious, which is why he didn’t go straight back to eating his burger. Curious, but not intimidated.  

“No, it wasn’t.” As usual for Octobert, his tone held little infliction. Although, he was almost surprised that he was asked if the seat was reserved in the first place. He determined that he would have to get used to people being polite. That’s another nice change. 

He didn't take much from the cafeteria to eat. Hell, he was moreso looking for a good place to sit more than anything. A quick bite to eat didn't hurt any, plus, the majority of the tables were either full or occupied by people he didn't exactly feel secure around. A soldier's intuition gives him (often false) senses of guard. The short time he's spent in Tancho so far tells him that he isn't the only one "out of place". Perhaps there were others around that he could get along with. That's a bit of a stretch, even Sister himself will admit that. He isn't here to make friends, after all. That isn't his job.

His brows quirked at the other man's following statement. Lost? Is that what he thinks... 

"Not at all," Sister replied simply. "I'm here to teach and guide the younger generation down the right path."

Well, Motonari was going to find out if the man was actually his religious studies teacher, since he was heading towards the class himself right now. He already didn’t like him, but there wasn’t much that could be done about this. Might as well try to be courteous if he wanted to get on teachers’ good side.

“I have a class to teach in T-minus 15 minutes. Just about. I must arrive early to inspect the classroom.”

Well then.

Could this boy be part of his class? To Sister's knowledge, he is the only religious studies teacher here. He stood tall, arms folded. To be frank, he doesn't even know who his students are. True, he's obtained a roster, but that doesn't change not knowing his students by face. 

…That wasn’t a chick, was it.

Judging by his features, he seemed to be foreign, or something like that. He was blonde, his eyes blue and damn—he was amazingly tall. The boy had to raise his head quite a lot to look at him. What could such a dude be doing in a High School?…

Unfortunately, he gave him the same response everybody had given him before: No, he hadn’t seen him before. Misaki gritted his teeth as he gave the picture of the assassin a withering look before switching the hologram function off. Guess he hadn’t had luck this time, either. He would have to keep searching for any fucking clue. The commander was about to leave wheezing and cursing when the man’s deep voice reached his ears again. 

“I’m sorry. He may not even be in this school. If it’ll make you feel better, I’ll keep a close eye out.”

Whoa, even if that guy was a total weirdo, it still could give him a hand. Misaki turned to look at him again, a grin now dressing his lips.

Sister's grown used to it. 

He bent his knees as to let Misaki not strain himself just to keep eye contact. He could feel it. The young man's discontent with Sister's response. Whoever this other person is, they must be a threat, and a big one at that. The thought crossed Sister's mind. If this individual would set foot on the campus grounds, then the rest of the school body would be in danger, if he is receiving Misaki's desperation correctly. More likely than not, he is. To allow this new environment to fall into danger just like that is a fate Sister will not allow bestowed.

His response made Misaki feel a little better from the looks of it. Sister felt relieved as well.

"Of course," he responded. "He looks dangerous. He mustn't be allowed to set foot on these grounds. Let me see this person again."

Motonari had a comeback sitting on the tip of his tongue, but he refrained himself from saying anything more. No use wasting his words with a man he had a feeling won’t step down about his claims anytime soon.

Who was he, anyway? A teacher, no doubt. Or at least a staff member. Maybe Motonari could assume from his clothes that he was a religious studies teacher?

Religious studies.

He couldn’t possibly be stuck learning from this gun-sporting man.

There must be other teachers.

“Right, I was about to attend class before you started causing a ruckus, sir. Now if you’ll excuse me…

Sister found his actions ordinary. The villagers didn't question him when he pulls out a small semi-automatic and fires it in the air to conduct mass. Briefly the thought crossed him that such antics... probably wouldn't be allowed here.

He turned his head towards the main entrance.
