I’m sorry to say that I’m officially dropping Mononokean! Initially I just wanted to read a little ahead of the EN release, and then I just liked working on it monthly to practice my JP skills. I’m sorry that it’s such a sudden announcement... Truthfully, I’ve been thinking about it for the last few months as I’ve been preoccupied with more things than usual and realizing that I haven’t been as excited about the new chapters as I used to be. CR is no longer releasing behind the JP release the way it was when I first started, so I feel pretty okay stepping back from the project.
For those of you that have access to Crunchyroll in the US, they do upload the newest chapter on the same day as the JP release for free, for a week (I believe) before making it closed to subscribers only. You can see the chapters here:
ETA: For other countries, they seem to upload more haphazardly and only allow for 24h so you might have to keep an eye on the page to catch the free chapter!
