Today on ig I saw a post calling Rick a racist bc his black/latino characters weren't smarter than Annabeth. It said something like oh yes he makes them intelligent but they never exced the white girl. And the more I think about the more ridiculous it sounds, like Annabeth is a child of Athena (WISDOM GODDESS) and is involved in the last two great prophecies OF COURSE SHE'S GONNA BE THE SMARTEST. Like, the rest of the seven they all had some kind of magic power. The only thing Annabeth has from her god parent is intelligence and yoU WANT TO TAKE THAT FROM HER TOO?
