Legolas was sitting next to Aragorn when he saw the hobbits walk over to Y/n. The fire was starting to dim but the flames still made her h/l h/c locks shine. Her e/c orbs sparkled like the twinkling stars as the hobbits spoke to her.
She stood up and followed them to where they were they would be sleeping for the night.
Frodo and Sam moved their beds closer to where Y/n needed to sit. Merry and Pippin followed their lead.
Y/n brushed her bangs out of her face and smiled as they looked to her.
âGo ahead Miss Y/n.â Sam said in a soft voice.
Y/n nodded and started to hum.
âLay down your head and Iâll sing you a lullaby
Back to the years of loo-li lai-lay
And Iâll sing you to sleep and Iâll sing you tomorrow
Bless you with love for the road that you goâ
Legolas turned his head at the soft, gentle voice and saw Y/n surrounded by the little hobbits.
âMay you sail fare to the far fields of fortune
With diamond and pearls at your head and your feet
And may you need never to banish misfortune
May you find kindness in all that you meetâ
Legolas smiled as he listened to her sing. And for some reason, he could see her singing to her own children who looked like a mix of himself and her.
âMay there always be angels to watch over you
To guide you each step of the way
To guard you and keep you safe from all harm
He could see Y/n playing with their children and his smile got even brighter.
âMay you bring love and may you bring happiness
Be loved in return to the end of your days
Now fall off to sleep, Iâm not meaning to keep you

This time he saw the day they would wed. His father giving her to him.
