saw the hadestown proshot a few hours ago and my god the costumes.. like ive seen their basic shapes and colors in bootlegs before but the little details. persephone and eurydice’s matching dress trim, hades’s pinstripes being glittery, persephone wearing a choker in act 2, the feathers on hermes’s cuffs, the feather in eurydice’s hair, the fates having veils(?) of mourning on after eurydice leaves for the underworld, hades’s snakeskin shoes and cuffs, all the fates’ dresses having different patterns and harnesses on, orpheus and eurydice both wearing bandanas around their necks that eurydice loses when she changes into the workers’ uniform, orpheus’s clothes being so visually baggy and handed down
