I think about this so frequently it's insane.

I believe nick fury has a record player in his living room and not one of those 20 dollar ones from 5 below. I mean a top of the line classic. He let himself splurge on this maybe even as a gift to himself.

He loves 80s era r&b. (Black man from alabama, roughly early 30s to late 30s, you do the math). It was around this time he was moving up from a rookie shield agent and while it definitely wasn't simple, it was simpler than the hell he was dealing with now. Luther Vandross, New edition,and Bill withers are some of his favorites because they reminded him of a simpler time.

"Can you stand the rain" is his favorite pick me up. He can replay it for hours and not get tired of it. No matter the mountains of paperwork, nor the idiots he has to deal with can not make him not happy to hear this song.
